Ultherapy Facial Skin Tightening - *NEW*
Ultherapy is the only FDA-cleared, non-invasive procedure that lifts and tightens saggy areas of the neck, face, chin and brow, and improves lines and wrinkles on the upper chest. As the name suggests, Ultherapy uses ultrasound to go deeper than any other non-invasive treatments to stimulate collagen production, non-surgically firming and toning the skin. With Ultherapy's ultrasound technology, the provider can see the layers of tissue they are treating and target loose areas without impacting the surface of your skin. and without downtime. It is also safe for all skin types.
Although Ultherapy offers immediate benefits and boasts a 95% patient satisfaction after just one treatment, like a fine wine, these benefits get better with time. In fact, the best results usually appear 2-3 months later when collagen regeneration really kicks in. It is an ideal treatment for someone with skin that has “relaxed” to the point of looking less firm. A lowered eyebrow line or sagging skin on the neck or the jowls is often the first sign of “maturing” skin.

How It Works
Ultherapy works from the inside-out, directing the ultrasound energy precisely at the areas in need of tightening - creating a stronger, tighter structural foundation as well as noticeable surface tightening. While lasers improve the appearance of the superficial skin layers, Ultherapy goes deep, affecting the foundational layers, SMAS and Platysma, which support the skin. The device produces an image of the skin and underlying connective tissue so the practitioner can deliver targeted energy under the surface of the skin with the optimal depth, temperature, and precision necessary to generate new collagen and to tighten and lift the skin.
Ultherapy stimulates the underlying tissues, which helps your body respond faster by rebuilding collagen and tightening throughout the area. Collagen is a natural protein that provides the elasticity and tone in youthful skin. As we age, the collagen in our skin loses its strength and elasticity. Ultherapy works by jump-starting the collagen-production. Because your body builds collagen over the months following your treatment, your results appear naturally and slowly.

FAQs:
1. Is Ultherapy safe?
Ultherapy is a proven treatment with a well-established safety profile. It is currently marketed worldwide in more than 75 countries, with over 1.5 million treatments performed globally to date. In addition, ultrasound energy has a proven track record, with use in the field of medicine for more than 50 years.
2. Can Ultherapy treat turkey neck?
As the only non-invasive procedure FDA-cleared to lift skin on the neck, Ultherapy is designed to treat “turkey neck,” one of the common signs of aging skin. Ultherapy can help you achieve a fresher look without surgery or downtime.
3. How long do the results last?
Since the procedure stimulates a person’s own collagen production, how long the results last depends on the individual. While results appear over 2-3 months, they can last up to a year or more. The treatment produces new collagen on the inside, but the individual’s natural aging process will dictate how long that translates into visible results on the outside. Future touch-up treatments can help provide more control over the aging process, which varies by individual. Some older individuals with moderate to severe skin laxity may need a follow-up session in 4-6 weeks.
4. Are there any side effects? Do I need to take time off?
There may be slight redness that typically resolves within a few hours following the treatment. Some patients may have slight swelling, tingling, or tenderness to the touch, but these are mild and temporary. With Ultherapy, there is no downtime. After your procedure, you can resume your normal activities immediately, without having to follow any post-treatment measures.
5. Who is a good candidate for Ultherapy?
A good candidate is someone with some degree of skin laxity, to the point of looking, and often feeling, less firm. Loose skin under the neck and under the chin ("turkey neck"), or lines and wrinkles on the chest, are signals a patient might be a candidate. Typically, those in their 30s and older, both men and women, who have mild to moderate skin laxity are candidates. While Ultherapy is not a replacement for a surgical facelift, there are many people who want some facial lifting but are not ready for surgery, whether mentally, physically, or financially. There also are younger people who want to "stay ahead of the game," as well as patients wanting an aesthetic maintenance option.
