Extraction & Healing Training

At MedSkin Youth, our Extraction course is designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills necessary to perform safe and effective extractions. The training begins with a theoretical understanding of the skin's structure, the causes of skin impurities, and the importance of proper hygiene and sterilization.

You will learn about different types of skin impurities, such as blackheads, whiteheads, and acne, and how to identify them. You will delve into the  correct techniques to extract these impurities without causing damage to the skin or leading to further inflammation by learning how to apply the right amount of pressure and handle the skin gently to minimize discomfort for the client. The training also covers aftercare, including how to soothe the skin post-extraction and advise clients on home care to prevent future impurities.

Guided practice sessions is a significant part of the training as it will enable you to gain confident in your skills. Therefore, you will have the opportunity to partake in supervised practice sessions on up to 3 models.
